October 14th at 6:00, join us in welcoming Thomas Meunier of Authentique Vin & Leigh McDaniel of Empire Distributers for a journey through the Terroir of France. We have tasted French wines before, but this tasting will prove to be a truly special experience. A French expat now based in Carboro, NC, Meunier spent six years working with a family run winery in the Loire Valley before moving to the States to start his own business. His goal is to showcase what makes each wine unique and authentic, and to tell the story of the family or individual behind the wines. The philosophy behind his selections is focusing on “authentic people that make authentic wine in a sustainable way which reveal the identity of a soil, a grape and a climate- the notion of Terroir.” Reservations are required.
