Continue celebrating our local farming community by joining us on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:00 for our Native Sun Farm featured farmer dinner. Inspired by time spent hiking the Appalachian trail and reading Michael Pollan, Brent and Amy Lopp are farming in nearby Bogart on land behind the house where Brent spent his childhood. As subdivisions and strip malls grown up around their family property, the Lopps have saved a space to celebrate the land and the fruit it bears. You can find them at the Athens Farmers Market on Saturdays or stop by the farmstand in front of their property on Jimmy Daniel Road on Wednesday afternoons to buy straight from the source. Take this chance to get to know them face to face while eating their delicious produce and eggs. The dinner will be vegetarian, 4 courses, and costs $35. Wine pairings will be available at an additional price. Please call to reserve your seat.
