Staying in town for Memorial Day weekend? We can’t think of a better way to spend your afternoon than drinking beer at Creature Comforts and eating food from some of the best restaurants in town all to support Wholesome Wave, a fantastic non-profit that doubles the value of food stamps at farmers markets nationwide, including our very own Athens Farmers Market. Oh, and unfortunately, Salvador Speights will not be representing us as it says on some of the promotional material for this event. He has gone on a great adventure into the woods of America, but this will be the first off-site appearance of our brand new chef, so stop by and say Hi!
