We have another great wine tasting coming your way on February 12th. Of course with it so close to Valentine’s Day, we had to choose Wine for Lovers as our theme. Alejandro Ortiz of Normal Wine School at J’s Bottle Shop has helped us pick out 5 amazing wines that span the spectrum of lovers you may have encountered in your life. We will start it out with a delicate sparkling wine reminiscent of those early days in a relationship, full of flirtation and little sweet surprises. Next up is a floral white from Spain, prettier than a bouquet of roses on the nose and lovely and luscious on the palate. Then we will move along to a very sophisticated take on a Beaujolais that may remind you of the black tie ball or quiet, candlelit, white tablecloth restaurant where you may have had your most romantic date. Next you will encounter the bad boy, the one you don’t bring home to meet the parents, but you sure have fun with while the passion lasts. Finally, we will finish things up with a light-hearted summer romance or the friends with benefits situation that somehow never got awkward. Whether you need an early in the week Valentine’s date because you will be working on the 14th or you just want to celebrate Galentine’s Day with your best ladies, this is the tasting for you.
