This event is for our dear regular Mary Martin, whose nephew lost his battle with acute myeloid leukemia after pushing himself to graduate from UGA in History & Political Science even while undergoing treatment. Adam loved travel and valued it as an opportunity to experience cultures, discuss politics, try foods, learn history, and make friends. After his death, his friends and family gathered together to fund this travel award, which goes to students at UGA who have had to overcome adversity to continue their studies, and funds travel for internships, conferences, and studies domestic & abroad. Come have a meal and reminisce on your own travels as you help fund them for someone else.
